This week and next week (Apr 2-Apr 11)

Central QLD: Tiny/flat this week- signs of life end of next week.

Tiny/flat

Nothing of any interest this week with weak pressure gradients in the Coral Sea and tiny/flat surf.

Next week looks similarly dull with a weak SE surge quickly racing northwards and not likely to generate any surf.

The end of next week is looking more hopeful. We may see some tropical developments later next week with major models suggesting low pressure development in the Coral Sea, possibly drifting southwards and offering E swell potential initially favouring the sub-tropics. Early days there so we’ll just flag it for now and see if it’s still there on Fri.

We’ll see how it looks on Fri.

Seeya then.
