This week and next week (Sep11-Sep20)

Central QLD: Small and just surfable into the weekend

Fun waves into the weekend.

Still really tiny, just surfable

We’ve got high pressure moving across the Tasman with a much stronger dual-centred high tracking into the Bight. The current high is generating  small, just surfable swells for CQ. Those swells will ease Fri and become tiny.

The next high will generate a strong S-S/SE surge on Mon. We should see some small surf from that surge from Mon through Tues next week.

SE surge should generate some small waves early next week

Following that we see very weak pressure gradients in the Coral Sea and surf is likely to go tiny/flat from mid next week.

Check back Fri for the latest.
