This weekend and next week (Nov24-Dec 1)

Central QLD: Surf easing back to tiny over the weekend

Tiny surf just coming in over expectations, rideable at low tides.

High pressure is straddling Tasmania with the remnants of a front lingering near New Zealand with an off-axis fetch. A coastal trough and an inland trough maintain unstable conditions with a developing N-NE flow over the weekend. Weak but persistent winds are holding a small tradewind swell.  Just tiny, rideable on the biggest boards on low tide.

Weak winds in Coral Sea with an extended period of tiny surf ahead

This pattern looks to continue right across next week so check back Mon and we’ll see if we can see the end of it.

Seeya then.
