Surf becoming tiny/flat by Sun, with a flat spell ahead next week

This weekend and next week (May27-June3)
Central QLD: Surf becoming tiny/flat by Sun, with a flat spell ahead next week
Last day of an incredible run of E swell ahead, so get in if you can.
No change to the f/cast. A surface low in the Southern Coral Sea is now tracking southwards, dragging swell producing E’ly winds out of the CQ swell window, for the first time in weeks.
That will leave some small/tiny leftovers to play with Sat with S to SSE winds, likely in the 1ft range before surf becomes tiny/flat on Sunday.
Into next week and right on cue, as head into the first week of winter, a nice cold outbreak and blast of W’ly winds with accompanying S’ly swells is headed our way. Unfortunately, these S swells coming up the Tasman Sea will not make landfall across CQ so we’re in for a flat spell, with just some tiny leftover energy in the 0.5-1ft range, likely unsurfable.
From mid week we’re looking stiff W’ly winds as the frontal system joins with the tropical low remnants and forms a large low pressure gyre in the Tasman Sea.
That will bring cooler weather and tiny/flat surf into next weekend.
Longer term and there’s nothing on the radar into the medium term, suggesting the great run of surf has come to an end, for now.
Check back Mon and have a great weekend!
