Welcome autumn - Long Reef Bommie
A crisp cool south-wester Saturday morning signalled the start of autumn in Sydney, clearing away the relentless humidity. The cool crisp offshore was related to a strong cold front pushing across the south-east of the country, with an intense low spawning off the Tasmanian East Coast.
A resultant large long-period S'ly groundswell pushed up the southern NSW coast later in the day Saturday, peaking this morning across the Sydney region.
Long Reef Bommie raked in the bulk of the swell, with a hardy few tackling the windy and raw conditions this morning.
In the mix was Camel (side angle and gold course bomb), Mick Freeman and Brett Herring (blue board) among a couple of unknown chargers. Additional shots at the end by 'golf ball doger' Tim Bonython.
