I had to search long and hard to find photos of surfers not in the barrel today. They weren't easy to find. It was all some surfers could do to keep up with the rifling Restaurants lip, and even then many of the barrels simply freightrained past the surfers like they were driving 60 in a 90 zone.

A few surfers had incredible last-second heat wins, while the Brazilian contingent was decimated by the end of the day - just two Brazilians remain in the draw. Also, there are just 9 goofyfooters left among the remaining 24 surfers. Incredible in this screwfoot paradise.
