Before too long...
Sooo...what's been going on in Queensland? Seems like there hasn't been a decent swell for, not weeks, not months, but whole seasons. Can it be that long?
No doubt it probably feels that way, but fortunately salvation is at hand, or at least at the end of the latest model runs. The Coral Sea is slowly beginning to stir with an easterly ridge embedding itself in a trade wind flow mid-next week. This should establish a small-to-mid size trade swell. Not huge, but it should be one of those events that just keeps giving day after day.
With this in mind old Jack Dekort has provided a gallery of south-east Queensland and northern NSW pumping in all their glory. The way it used to be, the way it will be before too long.
