When I asked photographer Peter Blackshaw where these shots were taken he replied somewhat cagily, "South of Melbourne."

South of Melbourne, eh? Well, strictly speaking there are no waves south of Melbourne. South-east and south-west you'll find 'em but not due south. So I asked for clarification, just to help the readers out.

"Just put south of Melbourne."

OK, point taken and directions - somewhat hazily - given.
