When I do get the opportunity to shoot Shippies from the land, I love going on top of the bluff. From up there it's like watching over a massive arena with the guys tackling these massive slabs in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

That said, about 95% of the time when i shoot I'll be swimming on the shoulder getting in on the action myself. It's definitely my favourite spot to be in, although I've had a few close calls. A couple of times I've pulled through a bomb then had the whitewater churn up under me and suck me under and into the impact zone. Nothing too serious, yet.
