A solid new swell filled into Bali on Tuesday, but unfortuantely it wasn't quite big enough to kick off the Rip Curl Cup Invitational at Padang Padang. Nevertheless, the lineup rotated an all star cast through a series of afternoon Expression Sessions, with impressive barrels threaded by (amongst others) Tom Carroll, Rizal Tanjung, Christian Fletcher, Laurie Towner, Mark Healey, Chris Ward, Ry Craike and Dylan Longbottom. Two new swells are due to arrive throughout the weekend and early next week, which will probably be the last opportunity for the main event to run before the competition window closes for the year.
