Russ and Tom in Panama
The ISA Games began in great waves at Santa Catalina, Panama, yesterday. I'll admit to not having a complete handle on what the ISA games are about. I know people surf in national teams and Ferdy, the head cheese at the ISA, has a wild dream to get surfing into the Olympics. That's about all that makes it onto my radar.
Thing is, I can overlook the rest when they score waves like they did yesterday. There were proper-pumping, overhead waves at Santa Catalina for Mens Round One, which included Australian Champ, and Australian Indigenous Champ, Russ Molony, and Thomas Woods, who looks to be surfing in a plaster cast.
You can get all the ISA information here.
