Rock up to Cape Solander
Never let it be said that we run too many shots of Cape Solander, especially when the shots we do run are drama-filled sequences such as this one of Bones Dwyer.
Here, Bones has a decent crack at a beautifully shaped wave only to be swallowed by the foamball and have the wave race off ahead of him. Punishment not over, the next wave in the set picks Bones up and deposits him back onto the rock shelf, near where crew jump into the water.
So yeah, until heavier, more photogenic waves with the potential for life-threatening injury are discovered and ridden this is what you'll have to put up with. //STU NETTLE
