The waves were generally average in Portugal for the third day of the Rip Curl Pro but there was no shortage of high-flying action. Plus a couple of notable upsets: Brazilian Raoni Monteiro knocked out Kelly Slater, and Owen Wright defeated Mick Fanning. With Joel Parkinson advancing through to the Quarter Finals, the World Title race has just become a whole lot more interesting.
