One of the biggest perks attached to my role as a Surf Forecaster is knowing when and where to travel to score the best out of any swell and wind combo.

From the moment I scour the charts my mind is already ticking over the various locations that will be working within striking distance, dependent on my work schedule. In most cases, the more effort put in, the greater the rewards, and when I arrive home from a trip bragging to all my mates there's only one phrase that repeatedly comes out of their mouths: "photos or it didn't happen", and here they are, the best from 2012. //CRAIG BROKENSHA
