North coast, south swell - photos
If we're gonna be exact the title should be "north coast, south south-east swell" though the extra syllables mess with the rhythm. Those extra syllables, however, the ones that represent a 22 degree shift in swell direction, made all the difference to the weekend waves on the NSW north coast.
Rather than pushing wide of the points, the swell direction was better aligned, the waves hollower, and it shows in the photos.
