A mellow slice of country Victoria
I'm not sure if you'll like these images, given the close up, crystal blue, deep pits that we've been seeing on Swellnet almost every day recently.
Down in the chilly south things haven't been so sweet. The light's not been great. These shots are a bit different from the usual and give a feel of another mellow, country slice of Victorian surfing on a decent weather day, at long last. They were taken from the most popular surfing area outside of Torquay region, an area where, history tells me, waves were first ridden in Victoria and east of Melbourne.
In this Sessions, the crowds knocked off work early to enjoy their winter solstice celebrations the way they know best. Now bring on the longer days. //KARL BROMELOW
