It was Soli Bailey who let the dogs out!

Time and time again it seems, going on these recent sequences by Darren Simondson at Macaronis. The young fella has his pigdogging technique down pat, grabbing from takeoff and burying his leading thigh to stall and shave off the speed and making a clean exit every time. If backside barrel-riding ain't a strong point you could do worse than watch how this young bloke pulls it off.

After the barrel the next best thing for a backsider at Maccas is to drop down the face hard and straight, back turned to the wave and then crank a dirty big bottom turn as the wave bends around the reef. Drop down, crank it around, and hit it hard...over and over again. Soli's got that part sussed too.
