Hold Tight
There's a wave on the East Coast of Australia that is the easiest wave in the world to get barrelled on. No, I haven't been barrelled on every wave in the world so I don't know if the above statement is true or not, but still, I can't imagine an easier wave.
Set a line off the bottom, aim for the shoulder and hold tight.
That's all there is to it.
Rarely does it section unpredictably and never does it close out; it's one of those waves that if you get in you're almost assured of coming out.
In fact the thing most likely to stop your progress is not the wave but other surfers - this place ain't no secret spot and people travel from near and far to hold tight and hook in. And due to it's popularity and tiny take-off area drop-ins and collisions are a common occurence. Matt Hipsley made the journey last time it broke and scored these images.// STUART NETTLE
