Hand and horsepower at a Sydney beachie
Matt Dunsmore paddles into a bulbous cavern somewhere in Sydney during the huge Easter Saturday swell. Dunsmore gets a good entry and sets a fine line but unfortunately can't find the exit. Cops a snapped board for his troubles, too.
While Dunsmore was paddling a few tow teams were working the bank. Photographer John Clark caught one of the tow surfers sitting in the throat of a barrel, not nearly as deep or hollow as Dunsmore's but ridden to a succesful end.
