Swellnet forecaster Craig Brokensha scarfed the fruits of his own labour on the weekend. After issuing a swell alert for the east coast last Tuesday - "not big, but very well groomed," he said - Craig dialled in his observations through the latter parts of the working week. As Friday arvo drew near he scoped an ideal stretch of coast and hit the highway.

After six surfs, nine meat pies, eight Breaka ice-coffees (extra strength) and plenty-something barrells he'd had enough. There's a certain satisfaction from living off the fruits of your own labour and this had been a very fruitful weekend indeed.
