Free Beach
Straight from the feelgood files...
I received an email from a fella known only as Whitey that wanted to share his recent camping trip. Whitey spent a few blissful days camped beside a remote beach scoring great, uncrowded waves. The first six shots represent his daily pattern: a beautiful sunrise, a glimpse of blue through the trees, barrels, then an evening lightshow. Sleep and repeat....bliss.
Better than the natural surrounds however, was the attitude of the surfer in the last sequence. According to Whitey, the fella was surfing with his two groms, just the four of them on the bank, and encouraging them to share the waves with the unknown blow-in. The generosity and spirit shown by the elder surfer led to a session that had Whitey buzzing a full two weeks later.
