First Swell of the Season
Although its only October, we're not too far away from the beginnings of the North Pacific swell season. There's already been some solid action in Hawaii, and last week delivered the first swell of the season to the Caroline Islands courtesy of Typhoon Malakas (what a great name for a weather system!).
Following a couple of well-earned recovery days, Allois from the Pohnpei Surf Club sent through this seductive imagery from P-Pass. With six foot sets, ideal winds and just a smattering of surfers in the water, it's easy to see why Pohnpei's high on the must-do list of most travelling surfers. Can't wait to see how the rest of the season pans out. //BEN MATSON
