How do you have a party if you've got no music? 
How do you throw a festival if there's no marching band?
And how do you celebrate International Surfing day if there's no fucken surf?

...that's how I felt today. And as I looked at other coastlines I figured other people were feeling the same: It was flat on the Goldy, 1-2 foot in Torquay, tiny across South Oz, and even Margs has a devil wind ruling out all surfing options.

International Surfing Day? Bah!

But this evening a jovial email rolled in from Dean Bowen in Bali: "Padang was pumping. My girl Natalie got great shots. Hope you like. Enjoy International Surfing day. Yew!"

Good to know someone's celebrating.
