Day 5 with Occy
Today was the zig that followed yesterday's zag. After a day at Telescopes we hit the boats and headed south to HTs. At 3'-4' the size was less than ideal, but then again it was a first time affair for most of the crew and our arrival coincided with low tide. The inside section, the Surgeon's Table, was more dry then wet. With that in mind it could be considered a great introductory size.
Everyone got their share of waves, except for maybe Occ who surfed for half an hour then spent the rest of the day entertaining from the boat. And the big fella has already let it be known he's backing up with another trip next year - interested? In the water, Josh caught his obligatory eleventy thousand waves, Webber's decision to play the wing paid dividends, and Carl, unable to throw a layback on a right finished his session with a hands-behind-the-back barrel ride. Carl is the fella in the first shot standing in a more regulation barrel pose.
