And really, it's no suprise – the wave is so intense that it's the action that viewers want to see. However, the way the shoreline bends limits the land angles so the action shots are always from the same perspective. Charlie Straumeitis took a different slant. Last Wednesday he dragged his telephoto lens out of the boot and took us up close at the Cape. Same angle, a lot closer.//STUART NETTLE
