Anthony Walsh almost made it back-to-back wins at the Maui & Sons Arica Pro in Chile today. Suffering a bout of malaria Walsh fell short in the final which was won by Peru's Alvaro Malpartida. The 3-Star event, held in pumping 4-6 foot waves, was a barrel shootout from start to finish.
