The Indo season is still months away from swinging into action. The only surfers currently swinging through the islands are budget travellers taking advantage of off-season deals and northern hemisphere climate refugees. Oh, and John Barton too. 

John is the resident photographer at Pitstop Hill Resort. Although Pitstop Hill stays open for much of the low season, like everywhere in Indonesia it kicks into gear around April-May. But why not turn up to the office early when your working day entails swimming amongst blue-water barrels and snapping the odd photo? Sign me up for overtime..
