'Grajagan: Surfing in the Tiger's Lair' - Early Orders

Co-authors Mike Ritter - who co-wrote Thai Stick - and filmmaker Jack McCoy explode the myths around the early days of discovery at Grajagan, one of the crown jewels of surfing.

This mythical surf break would become the focus of Mike Boyum’s obsession to create the world’s first camp in the zone where tiger-inhabited jungle meets pristine sea.

Ritter & McCoy’s verified account of the motley crew of surfers, drifters and scammers who first found their way to this surfing mecca is both compelling and powerful. This book will delight and excite all surfers and adventurers who prefer to venture off the beaten track.

Interviewees include:

Gerry Lopez, Rory Russell, Rusty Miller, Albe Falzon, Peter McCabe, Shirley Rogers, Terry Fitzgerald, Gary ‘Kong’ Elkerton, Warren ‘Abdul’ Anderson, Ketut Menda, Bobby Radiasa

Being an average natural footer G-lands not my thing, but it looks like a pretty good book and presented in a very high quality way, i hope someone does a similar one for the outer island chain of Sumatra.

I get why its not a paperback thing and expect it super expensive, but this type of thing isn't just another book you put on the shelf, its the kind of book you cherish and even display in some way like on a coffee table, its a book but its also in a way almost like an artwork or a collectible item.

Edit: Just checked out the prices regular edition $54.50 and $150.00 for collectors, isn't that bad at all, i was expecting double that.
