Watch: Nathan Cook // Grounded
Though you've probably never heard of him, you can thank Nathan Cook every time your boardbag makes it through Coolangatta Airport unharmed. The baggage handler with a gentle touch had a busy 2018; when he wasn't delicately transporting boards from plane to terminal he was packing his own bags and chasing swell around the county. On many of those missions he was joined by filmer Nick Colclough and this is what they came up with.

The baggage man can surf and flick his hair with the best of them foresure.
He's got a bit of the R'Call's about him wouldn't you say?
Ryan Callinan? Yeah, he sure does.
Well he obviously wasn't working when I passed through on new year's eve. My board came out at Adelaide airport with three new dings along the rail. Fargin Jetstar!
My mate refers to them as "deathstar" due to previous issues with surfboards, tickles my fancy!
We call them Spewstar because of a used sick bag my son found in the back of the seat in front of him on a flight back from Brisbane a couple of years back. Shitstar is also a favourite...
Ha ha, classic. I'll also start using those!
