November isn't considered prime season in Fiji but the straight fact is this: Cloudbreak, Restaurants, and Namotu all work in south swells, and as any Australian surfer can attest, south swells can still fire up in late autumn and even during summer. Yeah, they're less rare but they happen.
The video below was shot in late November, the same swell hit the bottom of Tasmania, then glanced the East Coast on it's way north - final stop, the Mamanuca reefs.
PS: If the bloke at 0:17 looks a bit like Tom Carroll...well, it's more than a coincidence.

Serious question : How long before individual swells are forecast and prepackaged for each location by these surf travel companies that cater to surfing's lowest common denominator?

Lowest Common Denominator Surf Charters .... well James Ashby has got the light plane and pilot's licence. Reckon it will ever get off the ground?
