Mullaghmore - video
With cerulean blue water and palm trees swaying in the trades it's easy to underestimate the ferocity of Pe'ahi. Often it takes a close up shot to move you, to see past the charm and realise that, yep, that's a damn angry wave.
Mullaghmore, on the other hand, has no Gemini-like duplicity. It's always grey, always deformed and mean, and no-one could be lulled into thinking they'll have a breezy session.
This session went down five days ago with Aussie expat Noah Lane, lidder Ben Player, Luke Hynd, and Russ Bierke, who's board lasted just two waves.

Just a casual backflip at Mullaghmore, yeah no worries.
1:52 for banjo fans. Shredding!
That booger backflip was next level!
