A mate of mine recently bragged to me about the nature of his workplace: "My office is the outdoors," he swooned and lifted his arms for holy emphasis.

He's a roof tiler. Works in suburbia. Wears Dunlop Volleys. At lunch he scarfs a salad roll and takes in the view of fresh McMansions.

But Morgan Maassen! Now here's a fella who can brag about his al fresco office

Fella is paid to travel to exotic locales and just work - as much as you can call it that. And though tropical blue waves are ubiquitous enough to be trite, Maassen illicits something different in his alchemy of light, shadow, and water.
