Used to be that you'd descend the rocks at Ulus or Padang and the locals would be taking photos of the surfers for money....hell, it wasn't that long ago they were totally indifferent to surfers and went about their own business or offered gifts to the gods.

Anyway, these days it's not incense or digi cameras they're holding, but the hand controls to a drone. Witness the increasing use of aerial vids on the reefs, starting with this vid shot at Padang on June 5th.
