I was gonna lead into this intro by alluding to the changing of the seasons, how the Southern Ocean storm track is slowly firing up, but judging by these photos I'm a bit late.

All the following shots were taken during March by Charlie Cullen at Aura Surf Resort. Charlie said there were waves most of the month including two large swells. In fact they had so many waves they surfed nearly every wave on the island, including a few sly ones.

So scrub those thoughts about shoulder season slowness and enjoy the early onslaught.
