Shelf stacking - photos
Last week's southeast swell turned over a stack of dormant ledges on the East Coast. It'd been a while since we'd seen some size, and even longer since a swell had synched up with good conditions.
But that's just what happened and the bees buzzed the honeypots. Bede Durbridge, Nathan Hedge, plus a bunch of locals and sort-of-locals ticked things over at this noted shelf, while Tim Bonython dodged the wide sets and willed the dolphins to hang around just a bit longer for comforts sake.
