While crewmen packed up the Cape Fear comp site, Eddie Blackwell, Spud, Richie Vas, and Laurie Towner took advantage of the deserted lineup. The waves were a few degrees off the death wish madness from the comp but somewhat compensated by the shape - it was nigh on perfect. You'd call it user friendly until you spot that exposed ledge.

Good to see Richie and Laurie out there after two days of competition, plus old Eddie Blackwell giving it a right nudge.
