Now that Fiji is done the CT moves on to another favourite stop, J'Bay. On the weekend the JBU Supertrials went down in excellent waves at Supertubes. The winner of the Supertrials gets a wildcard into the main event, and this year it was Wilko lookalike Steven Sawyer.

It's not so much Sawyer's appearance that's similiar to the current rankings leader but his surfing style: a low-slung goofy with a wide stance and the uncanny ability to hold heelside pressure.
