Like your vintage boards? Like 'em even better when sporting twin fin, double flyer, and swallow tail? Well this is a gig for you. 'Communing with Twin Fins' will be a celebration of the twin fin design curated by Damion Fuller, the fella who's organised a half-dozen surf swaps at Bondi and Camperdown, and who himself has a critical twin fin addiction.

Rather than just being a collection of sunburnt museum pieces, Damion has invited a few contemporary surfers and shapers to give their take on the 'old and the new'. Modern twin fins being de rigeur if you hadn't noticed.

The line up includes:

• Craig Anderson pairing up with Hayden Cox (Haydenshapes) to talk about their new twin fin model.
• Darren Handley with riders Asher Pacey and Kyuss King.
• Ozzie Wright has cut a twin fin only clip and is coming with Mark Gnech from Vampirate ('The Goons of Doom' may even be playing a set)
• Jesse Adams is coming with Lee Stacey from Tweed Heads.
• Torren Martyn is coming with Simon Jones from Morning of the Earth surfboards.
• Andrew Kidman is coming with the 'Dreamboard' (Art from Litmus, ridden in Lost in the Ether)
• There are rumours of a Newcastle based surfer/shaper coming along for some Q&A.

All the above surfers and shapers will be talking about surfboard history and design and showing some video clips.

Also, anyone is welcome to bring along their vintage twin fins to display as part of the 'Show 'n Shine' and be critiqued by the contemporary shapers. However, space will be limited so send an email to Damion (damion@boarcollector.com) to let him know how many boards you want to bring to display and he'll save the space for you.

There will be an area to buy and sell boards, so you can take a few pre-1990 boards to sell. As usual there will be expert appraisers on hand to give valuations and shed a little light on the history of your mystery board.
