Disability be damned! Just an hour or so ago, Bethany Hamilton paddled out against the in form Tyler Wright and took the rating's leader to the cleaners. The final score was 16.10 vs 14.90 with Tyler left needing an 8.54 to progress. The difference between them was Bethany's deft barrel riding.

All credit to Hamilton. Can't imagine trying to paddle out, or pop to my feet or duckdive with one arm. Great surfer ignoring her disadvantage is great to see.
