The Craic - video
Seems it's Irish Week on Swellnet. No sooner had we published an Irish Sketch Book, with input by Andrew Kidman and Fergal Smith, plus photos by Toby Manson, then this video of Ireland comes out.
It's not without some consternation that I post it, after all the aforementioned piece described how wonderfully uncrowded Ireland is compared to the rest of the world. However, I think this vid shows just why that's the case. Say hello to heavy neoprene from top to toe, observe the snow-capped mountains and off-the-Arctic offshores, all of which gives you a sense of that cod-chilling water.
Indo never looked so good...

Fine here. Maybe Indo vid restrictions?
It's just blank where the vid should be.
Don't ever have any problems with any other swellnet vids.
It's not a rubberist fetish video is it ?
The Indo censors might not have too much of a hard on for that kind of action.
I made a pun ! ...I think ?
Siiiick waves. Looks like an amazing place.
On the bucket list for sure
That water looked like Guinness...Great Video, sound track made it look even colder.
Really nice video. Good to see a few different locations too other than the usual Aileens/Rileys/Mullaghmore offerings. Darcy's really come a long way in the last few years too, the production is pretty slick.
whats the water temp?
bet that wind chill is brass bollocks.
Good vid, some of it looked a bit like bit like down south! (maybe not the snow).
Never thought I'd hear a Joy Division tune used as a backing track to a surf video, especially their song Atmosphere. It kind of worked though, in a frosty type of way. A really well produced video with great editing, but I don't think I'll be putting Ireland on my surf destination itinerary any time soon. Too fracking cold.
same track is used in a Kai Neville film, go figure. somber as fuck
wow solid bullocks to fade it at 3:30
Having trouble with most videos, whole site struggles to load.
Indo never looked so good... so long as you don't mind waiting for 40 minutes for a wave....maybe I just need to paddle harder....
