Filmed on the day of the aborted Eddie, this clip includes footage from a drone flying about as close to a wave as is possible. Says the cameraman: "These are some of the gnarliest drone shots I have gotten of surfing. Many near crashes with waves and definitely lots of spray on the drone after every flight."

Watch Mark Healey pull in on the very first wave and also scratch into a couple of lefts.

Top footage. Gives a better perspective of surfing large waves than previous Drone footage.
