Looks like an incredible place. Has been on my list for a while but haven't got there. Many people here gone? How is it for consistency? Obviously a large coast. How have you got around? Easy to get car etc?

Been once for a short stay, mixed it up between the mountains and the sea. Cant speak for consistency or car rental, but I got waves every day, nothing big though, it was in September. I used local buses to get around on long hauls, heaps around, and collectivos for short trips. Although some of these breaks are relatively close to the equator, the water is still pretty cold, didn't stop some of the locals dive for their seafood in boardies, I however was cold in a 3/2 steamer.
