This clip was filmed in New Zealand on National Crate Day. Not wanting to appear culturally uncouth I had to do a bit of Googling to find out what Crate Day is. Thus did I discover that Crate Day is when Kiwis celebrate the first Saturday of summer by getting on the piss in a big, big way.

Good to see Alex Dive tackling the national binge-drinking problem by swapping crates for kegs.

Nice waves/ good surfing. That's the most people I have seen at "the island'. We used to surf it alone in the 60s and 70s. Boats and jetskis make it a lot easier now.
