A token ten-night surf trip with a twist. Lightly frosted and steeped in absurdity, an unlikely trio - bodyboarder, surfer, and kneelo - chase the wild crests to one the coldest corners of the earth - Iceland.
That was really enjoyable. The travel alone would have been worth it. The waves were just a bonus.
(some of those flushings would have been brutal though)

Now that's keen. What rubber combos were the boys wearing (Zion wetsuits)?

Surfing heaven for penguins, my ears were aching thinking about paddling out.

Its been a while since someone has plucked up the courage to break the rules of modern surf fluff, nice work Ryan. Great music too.

Nice job guys. Really enjoyed that, best I've seen in a while. Rare for a surf clip to have some commentary with some decent humour/intelligence to it (the painful rumblings in Shangri La comes to mind as an example of one found lacking ).

Great work. Especially the cameraman who had to bob around dodging icebergs.

You mad, mental lovable bastards! You had me mesmerised and captivated by the serenity, the majestic beauty of such a bleak and foreboding land of mystery. I must say that is the best short film I have watched in many years! The desolation, the incredible beauty, the coldness and the oceans delights played out by three complete lunatics was not only completely mental but soulful and serenely peaceful. I actually found myself blotting out any other sound or distraction as a watched in awe of you lucky bastards.....perhaps it was the sound tracks....yes, but more so probably the mystifying awesomeness that Mother Nature has to offer! Thank you for sharing this crazy, yet for you three...life changing unforgettable experience with us lot! I really was transfixed! Peace!

I'm with you Brucey , how was the serenity? You could almost feel the icy wind, and kudos to the photographer for capturing those epic moments. The dreams still out there.

Awesome. The visuals of 3 guys in the lineup (especially with the kneelo); in remote surf breaks, brought back many memories I had with my dear kneelo brother RIP. Just awesome 'soul of surfing' here. No wonder I often find it hard to hit the local when the beach/lineup resembles an ants nest after a penny-bunger has been lit and dropped down the main entrance-hole. What a shit-hole the local is now; and what a great escape that clip was.....

Once and a while something special comes along - pure, simple and real. Not a brand name or agenda in sight - just the pursuit of pure happiness, the essence of the many forms that surfing takes. Beautifully shot and edited - thanks so much for putting the truth out there ......

Every once in a while a surf film appears that really hits home. Innermost Limits, Litmus, Second Thoughts, and now No Country. Truly a milestone effort with character enough to not become surf porn - and to think of those spots under those conditions - especially the big right and the glassy green lit slab. And the cross cut editing was nothing short of in-your-face to every media saturated version of modern surfing. Well done!
