Help Preserve this Fascinating Part of Surfing History!

John Waring and Chris Tola are looking for stories, anecdotes, and pictures relating to surfing road trips from back in the day (1950s to late 1970s). The search for the best waves, the triumphs and disasters, the friendly surfie chicks, police harassment, fights with the locals, the clubbies etc. etc.

All submissions must be mostly true, believable, and interesting. Suggested length is around 500 words, but if the story's really interesting...

Successful authors will have their story or anecdote published in a new compilation of surfing road trip stories, and receive a signed copy of the book in addition to acknowledgement within.
