Leo Fioravanti, Hawaii - video

A clip that ticks all the postmodern boxes: A teenage Italian surfer tears apart Hawaii to a Black Sabbath tune.

17-year old Leo Fioravanti had a breakthrough season in Hawaii, at least up until early February when he broke his back in the Volcom Pipe Pro.

This footage includes the best waves from Leo's trip showing the kind of 'crash through or crash' surfing that led to his accident. The drop at 2:50 is a classic example.

GR8 all-around surfing. Loads of guts.

Stu > "broken back" - will he recover back to this level?

I like his style. Great to watch. Reminds me of a younger Parko....
