unlike Ramon Navarro, this man lacks conviction. Gotta commit. For example, I know I'm committed to not ever being in the water when a set like that comes

That's absolutely horrifying. I've seen faces of death videos far less chilling.

Savage rag doll. I wonder if his board survived
Luke GMonday, 4 May 2015 at 5:54pm
Maybe he was going for the wipeout of the year award?
southeyMonday, 4 May 2015 at 6:27pm
Well if that be the case he's really raised the bar .
We're not talking a deep water reef break here , the maelstrom waiting for him on the inside and perhaps the next few waves would be Tsunami like ! There's a photo somewhere that twiggy took that literally looked like a Tsunami surge .
Wow... that's the entire ocean folding over itself.

brutusTuesday, 5 May 2015 at 9:26am
ahh ,looks like a new maneuver...the forward double cartwheel!
carpetmanTuesday, 5 May 2015 at 9:32am
I've been specialising in the forward cartwheel since I started surfing but I've still only ever managed a single.

Geez, the points must be off tap with this swell. Still can't believe the guys tackle Puerto this big. Even at 8ft its scary - so much water moving around and dodging close-outs. Apparently waves were washing through the shops on the main street at the height of this swell.
SheepdogTuesday, 5 May 2015 at 10:21am
Mehhh...... Reminds me of just another day at west coast tassie.... ;)
DeXtrusTuesday, 5 May 2015 at 11:28am
If that doesn't win wipeout of the year then the guy that does win it will have to die to take the title...
