Watch: Tim Bonython // Tahiti - Part 2

It's the second part of Tim's greatest show on Earth - the Tahitian swell he lucked into after getting caught up in New Caledonian civil strife - and it really is as good as it gets.

Watched in it's entirety, you'll see that, at times, there's no takers for the biggest sets, and then gradually, perhaps realising the conditions are flawless, one or two surfers start spinning. Some waves they don't make, some they do, and they're arguably the largest waves ever paddled at Chopes.

Wow...

Really enjoyed the pulled back footage showing the entire line-up.

Halfway through and still no sign of Matahi Drollet? Where was the Prince of Teahupoo?

Unreal, though.

Not really, doesn't distract from some mighty fine footage, just not my preference. I put in something else instead. Awesome vid.
