Watch: Big Pipeline
Shot during last Wednesday's opening swell, this clip is start to finish slo-mo, not something that usually goes down well with Swellnet readers.
However, your suffering is lessened by following the time-codes running along the lower timeline, simply skip to the waves you want to see: 'Massive wave explodes on Jamie O'Brien' for instance.
One wave you shouldn't skip is the second wave in. Benji Brand's controlled freefall and make is a highlight in any Pipeline clip.

If you click on bottom right hand corner of the video 'Settings' then 'Playback Speed' and set it to x2, it's very watchable with some sped up Jazz
Thanks. Pity you can't set it to 3X to approach realtime. Every time I watch these drawn out things I feel another breath, or 60, closer to death.
that slow-mo was horrible. Actually unwatchable
YouTube has the 2X playback speed which takes some of the waves to almost normal......
Slowmo is nice to see some insane technical elements - but faaarrrkkk....gets annoying!!
Mmmmm...just occurred to me that they probably made a pact with the YouTube devil there. Long slow mo clips of waves = more ads = more cash....
