Watch: Tim Bonython // The Dynamic Slab Tour
We've shown a few videos from Shippies lately, and this as much as anything is testament to the radical shift in weather that's effected our corner of the globe.
While the East Coast enters its third successive week of flatness, Victoria, South Oz, and Tassie have felt the full force of the Southern Ocean's swell engine.
In this clip, Tim shoots from the channel as Stu Gibson twiddles his thumbs to nab the bird's eye view, and a welcome addition to Tim's videos it is too.
In front of the cameras is a mix of international, Australian, and local talent towing and paddling big Shippies.

Wayne Cleveland!! 6.56 - bad decision - ouch over the falls. Snatching defeat from the Jaws of Victory.
Then at 10.33 Wayne bites the bullet only to face the foamball from hell.
Nate risks gopro facilitated full teeth removal on each wave.
Jesus Christ RedBull ski driver... Slow mo @10:33 onwards !
He gave the guy paddling limited options to paddle outwards to avoid a trip over the falls. Fortunately not an issue this time - just a face full of wake.
Looks like Noah Hasset, one of the younger local chargers.
Epic..........fully committed and balls bigger than your average dude.
Drone footage adds another perspective to an amazing piece of Oz.
Turned it off after he interviews DL in the terminal talking about another secret spot with a little giggle obviously referring to him blowing up that Sydney ledge in one of his last videos.
So much arrogance, it’s mind boggling. I love everything about swellnet excluding their love for this guy.
I thought the whole routine about the secret spot in the previous video was a bit tongue in check because it’s not a secret spot.
Secret or not, people that live and surf there were very unhappy from the vibe i got.
I didn’t know about it and now I do
Every single one of them are exactly the same and the tassie crew are the worst.
Nice one! Great shots, great crew. I very much enjoyed the edit mix of waves, fails, skis in soup, bluff, general shenanigan's.. and the treatment of the music was good - it built as it went along, starting with heaps of space so the vision could get a hold of us. The use of real-time audio of onlooker-goading and cheering over slow-mo vision worked a treat!
Filthy....Dylan where's Team rider L.T.

Crazy wave, good footage. But, some poor behaviour by the ski drivers wth paddlers in the water.
Hard to believe that the locals would be cool with a bunch of out of towners flying in and towing their wave. Would be interesting to hear the paddler's perspective.
The out of towners clearly don't give a fuck. Along with the groupy filmers following them around like a bad smell
The carbon footprint of a Shippies swell is getting a bit out of hand these days.
x2
Watched this last night on 65" box, really good, thanks Tim for all the amazing footage, hope Dylan is on the mend that wave was insane, lucky man........
